Driving Positive Change: Unveiling the Crowdfunding Journey
Long-form writing on humanist politics, human sovereignty, and the separation of money from state control.
Dear Readers,
Today marks a transformative phase for Unintuitive Discourse. I am elated to share the launch of our crowdfunding campaign, a step towards our redefined vision: intertwining humanist activism with Bitcoin’s transformative power. Our mission expands beyond traditional activism; it delves into the intricate dance between technology, economics, human behaviour, and societal change.
The Intellectual Territory
The questions this work engages are political in the full sense — not in the narrow sense of electoral contests, but in the deeper sense of what conditions make human agency possible. That includes the question of money.
The argument is not that Bitcoin is a good investment, or that a new financial system is arriving. The argument is that the control of money is one of the primary mechanisms through which institutional capture operates — and that a politics serious about human sovereignty cannot treat monetary control as someone else’s problem. The case for separating money from state control is a humanist political case, in the same tradition as the separation of church from state: a structural defense of the conditions under which independent thought and political agency can exist.
Why Independence Matters
This publication is not produced inside institutional channels. There are no advertisers, no editorial relationships with funders, no grant structures that require conclusions before the argument is made. Reader support is the only funding structure compatible with that independence — not because independence is a virtue to advertise, but because the arguments this work makes cannot be made from inside the structures they contest.
Why Geyser
Geyser is the support infrastructure for this publication because the platform choice is consistent with the argument. A Lightning-native, censorship-resistant crowdfunding platform is not a product preference. It is a demonstration of the same principle.
